  • Switch to a tiktok pro account

To access TikTok’s analytics, you must first switch to a TikTok Pro account. It’s free and easy to do. Go to your profile settings, click “Manage my account,” and select “Switch to Pro Account.” Follow the prompts to choose a category for your account and complete the setup. Use these insights to shape your future content direction.

  • Analyze your video reach

Click on each video for more detailed analytics, including data about that video’s reach. TikTok’s reach is the total number of unique users who saw your video at least once. A high reach indicates that TikTok’s algorithm has picked up your video and shown it to many new people. See which hashtags, sounds, and visuals correspond with your highest-reach videos, and use those elements more often.

  • Calculate your engagement rate

While view counts are essential, engagement rate is an even more meaningful metric, showing how much your viewers interact with your content. To calculate the engagement rate, add all the likes, comments, and shares on a video, divide by the total views, and multiply by 100 to get a percentage. An engagement rate between 3-6% is considered good, and anything above that is excellent. Identify your videos with the highest engagement rates and try to understand what inspired viewers to engage so much with that content.
